It is time for a little rest and relaxation. Spring Break for students is March 24, 2016 - April 3, 2016. We hope everyone comes back to school ready to learn and finish out the year strong.
                                             

Spring Pictures

Spring pictures have recently been sent home. Please return any unwanted pictures and/or picture money as soon as possible. There is no obligation to purchase.

Used Printer Cartridge Recycling

Wilson's Mills Elementary is starting a used printer cartridge recycling program. If you have any empty/used inkjet or laser printer cartridges at home that you were going to throw away, please send them in to school instead. Not only will it be safer for the environment to recycle them, but it could also earn a little bit of money to help our school.

Parent Survey Ending March 23

Career Day is Coming Soon

Career Day is Wednesday, March 23, 2016. 5th graders should dress as if they were going to an interview since they will meet will several members of the community about careers. This is a great way to present a good first impression. Grades K-4 can dress as their future career. This will be a fun day as we explore our future possibilities.

PTA Board Positions

These positions will be voted on at the general assembly meeting on May 17th. This is a wonderful way to stay connected with the school and help your child.

K-3 Reading Night

Attention parents of K-3 students. On Thursday, March 17, 2016, we will host a reading night to give parents some useful reading tips to use at home. From 5:30-6:00 pm there will be a book sale sponsored by the PTA. Books are either new or gently used and will cost $1.00 each. There will also

McDonald's Family Dinner Night

Please join us at the McDonald's at the intersection of US 70/West Market St. and Wilson's Mills Road on Tuesday, March 15, 2016 from 5-8pm. It is a PTA Family Dinner Night. McDonald's will graciously donate 25% of all sales during this time to our school.

Spring Picture Day

Both individual and class pictures will be taken on Wednesday, March 2, 2016. All class pictures need to be purchased before or on this day. Remember to dress nice and bring your smiles! :)
